Woke up in Italy!!

Today began my residency at @lameridiana in Certlado. Arrived last night in time for dinner. My studio with a joining apartment is beautiful. Will spend many evenings on the front porch enjoying the end of day. But on this first day discussed the scope of my residency with Pietro. He suggested incorporating vitreous slips or engobes into my work which can be added to my wood fire pieces. Made several test pieces today, tomorrow begin to test the slips.
