Free day

Tomorrow is a free day but I only have a week left so plan to glaze several pieces in preparation for the final firing.

Today built the attached. Instead of using plaster slabs as a mold created the form using bricks to form the shape, a layer of plastic to lift it and a layer of paper. Hope to lift tomorrow to add to the backside. The plan is to complete, bisque and ship to Germany for the July residency. Timing the construction and dry time to plan for future work.

Reading a book about the bombing of Dresden, between that and being surrounded by ancient building I produced a decaying structure.

Finished the evening with a dinner with Fanny. Pulled our joint resources to produce a great meal.
